Description
Rio came to Equine Voices in Jan. 2009. He was found by AZ livestock officers wandering alone in the desert. We believe he was used to smuggle drugs across the border and then was left to fend for himself when his job was done. He's a sweet, gorgeous 6-year-old chestnut gelding, but he will never be able to be ridden because of a severe leg injury that makes him lame. Rio would make a great companion horse.
