Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Jet

Jet is a lab mix and is approximately 13 months of age. He still acts like a puppy sometimes but his foster family has discovered that he really tires to please and is a real joy to have around and will listen when spoken to. He is great with other dogs and cats but maybe a bit to much for small children so a family with older children maybe best for him. He is great about going outside to do his business and once he settles into his new home he will settle down at night and sleep the night away. He is pretty good on leash but further leash training would be good for him. He loves playing ball and playing with the other dogs at his home. He also enjoys car rides and truly wants to just be next to his family. Jet was diagnosed with valley fever when he was rescued at the pound in April 09. He came to us very under weight and now is on the road to recovery and is eating like a champ once again. He is on a very inexpensive valley fever medication called fluconazole and will be on that until the veterinarian deems it not necessary to be on it further. Our foster, Jet is a very affectionate boy and his most favorite thing in life is to be a part of his foster homes activities and to be petted and loved on by his foster family. Jet will make a wonderful addition to his new family. If you have room in your heart for him please talk further with his foster mother. We know that Jet is patiently waiting for that special someone.
