He is a big german shepherd mix who is just under a year old and has the biggest feet you ever saw on a dog. The poor boy came down with parvo first, then distemper and he has survived both but the distemper has left with with twitching of his front legs. He sleeps a lot and he is not quite as steady on his feet as most dogs but he loves his walks and he doesn't need an excessive amount of exercise like most young dogs.He has the softest fur you ever felt and a very sweet, slightly goofy disposition.Boyd currently lives with 11 other dogs and gets along with everyone, a watch dog he is not as he has a 'girly' barkand doesn't bark much. He would do well with another easy going dog and probably with cats as well. It's hard to know what his future holds as the distemper will most likely shorten his life span but he is a good dog and I'm glad he survived, he's come through a lot. I am currently supplementing his diet with vitamin c and vitamin b and some herbs forhis nervous system as that is what distemper affects.
