Meet Meko--our resident, roly-poly tabby mix. Meko is the perfect gentleman, mellow and sweet. He reminds us of a professor who put himself in charge of raising all our kids. (Kittens) He just loves them. He loves people, too, especially his foster mom who says that of all the cats she's fostered, Meko is HER FAVORITE. Every night, Meko comes into the bedroom and curls up in the crook of her elbow, purring them both to sleep. He's better than a heating pad or sleeping pill!! Meko also likes to roll over on his back to have his tummy rubbed and to sit in a sunny window and play with catnip toys. He's the lap cat you've always wanted. Meko gets along well with other cats and some dogs. He adore kittens, especially the cutie pies who are being fostered with him. Tucson CARES offers "cat-patible" discounts when two or more of our cats and kittens are adopted together. Our adoption fee includes tests, shots, neutering and microchipping.
