Lena is exhausted from taking care of her six very active kids, the Lil Buckaroos. She's hoping you'll rescue her and take care of her for a change. Lena was abandoned at a young age and left to fend for herself outdoors. She soon had a litter of kittens. She must be a wonderful, intelligent mother to survive on her own with 6 kids in tow. Fortunately she was discovered by a goodhearted person who contact Tucson CARES for help. Lena is an exemplary, gentle and patient cat. She always lets her kids eat first. She thoroughly cleans them and allows them to swat her tail and climb all over her. She purrs at the slightest suggestion of attention. She likes to bump heads and stay close to her humans. Please adopt Lena so Tucson CARES can rescue more animals. Adoptions are down and abandon animals are way up. All of our pets are homed with loving foster families, not in cages, so they are trusting, loving, playful and well socialized.
